SOC 2 compliance demonstrates that software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications have the necessary controls and processes in place to protect data processed on their systems, and is a critical criterion for evaluating the security of software vendors.

During the audit, a service organization’s non-financial reporting controls, including security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy, are tested. The SOC 2 report delivered by KirkpatrickPrice verifies the suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of Uptake’s controls to meet the standards for these criteria.
